Good book

The title reminded me of Nehru's letters to Indira. Those were turbulent times and the letters reflected those times. This lot of letters are from hard working, successful parents to their daughters-in a more previledged and secure setting. On it's own, the book is good-but the title forces a comparison with Nehru's letters, which are in a different league. A bit unfair to todays daddy's perhaps!

Above average book.Some of the stories were really interesting but some were less emotional and more bookish (edited versions sounding very correct with less intensity)
