The poorly conceived Merchant Bank experience to expand worldwide in the securities industry weakens and itself adds to the growing difficulties. Amid the turmoil the charactes of Bank of America and Security Pacific clash as Smith and his team seek to keep the merger from failing while Rosemberg's troops seek to find ways to derail the merger and disgrace their future partners. Exiting the book will keep the reader on the edge of their chair with never ending thrills and excitement, and a bit of humor, as the deal waivers near its conclusion.
