Here's the description from the back cover--The personal assistant: When Sara caught her fiance being unfaithful with her cousin, she felt doubly betrayed. However having worked for Alex for some time now, she knew he never did anything without expecting something in return. Sara wanted Alex so badly, she would have given herself to him with no strings attached. But in order to win Alex, she would have to play his game--and choose her price---. OK, I gave this 4 stars because I like L. Graham's stories. Yes, most of the time her heros are a little cruel, but they always wind up vulnerable in the end. This hero is not cruel as much as he is not comfortable when he is not in control. The heroine is wary at first, then as the story moves along she figures out that she has to fight for his understanding. One of the reasons I like this hero is that he is trying to understand how to reach Sara.

The Trophy Husband is an Excellent read!

Of all of the Lynne Graham books that I have read, I must say that this is one of my favorites. Both of the main characters have living family members (abet not happy). Often you will find that many of the harlequin presents characters are orphans so that was good for a change.
The hero has been in love with the heroine (Sara) for a very long time. The hero recognized that his time was running out as she was soon to be married, so he had to think quickly. He had a private investigator follow Sara's fiancée to dig up any dirt and boy was there dirt to find. The hero was there to comfort the Sara after she found her cousin and fiancée in bed together. The hero suggests that Sara marry him as a way to save face. Through out the book the hero is sooooo jealous of Sara's former fiancée. As you know by the end of the book, all is settled and they live happily ever after

4.75 stars - Lynne Graham where have you been in my life???

No need to write a backcover or description since previous reviewers have already done that. What can I say, this book is fabulous! In a nutshell heroine finds fiance' and cousin in bed together six weeks before their wedding. She is devastated. Runs in to the waiting (and rather manipulative haha!) arms of the hero and sleeps with him - thereby giving him her prized possession. Oh, I'm sure you know what that is! Hero suggests a marriage of convenience and she agrees. SPOILERS AHOY! What can I say, this book is a totally fast read and extremely entertaining and sweet. The hero was actually in love with the heroine a month after she started working for him! He doesn't reveal this until the end of the book, but you can see it through his actions allthroughout the book. Aw[...] That was why he was rather manipulative and sneaky. You can read the book to see what he did. But that's ok, all in the name of love, hehehe! The only minor irritation I had was that heroine's stupid cousin and ex fiance' doesn't deserve to be helped! Forget those people! But I guess the heroine is just nice. Heck, she got the super prize anyway, right so why begrudge? =P And I want an epilogue, them with kids or something. Sometimes I wish Harlequin novels were longer! Anyhoo, this book is a total keeper and you'll be a fool not to pick this one up. I am totally going to check out all the other Lynne Graham novels. I've also read Bond of Hatred and that's another keeper!
